Who am I? and What is Daily Style Media?

I am Dave Schaefer.  I was born in Poughkeepsie New York.  I grew up in Hyde Park and Pleasant Valley New York.  All upstate NY in the Hudson Valley.  Growing up in upstate NY you cant get around without transportation.  Getting a bike when I was a kid was a must to go anywhere.  My friends and I were always artistic in different ways.  From skate videos during the day to middle of the night photoshoots; we were always creating something.  Over the years my relationships fizzled out with people and my art.  As the years went on and life happened, photography kept pulling me back in.  Fast forward to December 2024; my new years resolution for 2025 was to focus on creating again.  Inspiration from my friends and fiancée led me to building Daily Style Media.

Daily Style Media (DSM) is my brand created to showcase the beauty in the everyday.  The slogan "Transforming Daily Life into Timeless Media" is a testament to what DSM is.  I take the ordinary of the day to day and capture it, creating a timestamp of what most people overlook on the daily.  From the streets of NYC to the hills of the Hudson Valley and everything in between, I intend on showing how extraordinary life can be no matter your environment.  You can witness the beauty of life no matter your area; you just need to take a moment, and look around.  In doing that you can experience Daily Style Media.
